His father, Seduka: was one of those men. Upon the birth of Kumori; a large portion of the clan males left the land of fire to travel far away and do other things. Before he went his father left Kumori a small bracelet, one that he would receive upon his induction as a shinobi; a Yumimuru tradition. Because of this his mother, who was still a Jonin-ranked ninja form Hi no Kuni , raised him. She trained her son from an early age, teaching him the basics of becoming a shinobi.
At age Nine he was inducted into the academy, where his skills were further honed. Because of the training he received prior to becoming an academy student Kumori already knew all the basics: and wished to become Genin as soon as he he could Kumori passed his test with no problem and then sence being a prodigy he became chuunin at 12 and jounin at 14 he trained under the tutelage of a man named Shido. Kumori thought of shido as a father to him and they were an unstoppable team and worked on A and B missions together . After returning from a 5 day recon mission with Shido he discovered his mother, lying on the floor dead in her bedroom. The young boy was only Fourteen years old; too young to discover this.
Nobody knew how or why she died, though he would have to live somewhere else for the time being. He was assigned to live with Shido in his apartment; something he did very easy. Though, the men were very competitive. The death of his mom changed him completely, and kumori was no longer cheerful and carefree. He became shy and secluded, rarely speaking. His sensei noticed this and took action, deciding to teach him in the ways of assasination. He believed that if he was taught to kill could take, instead focusing on his job. This worked quite efficiently, and though he was still shy: he had taken up a sense of honour and devotion to his new found profession. Not longer afterward he was appointed an assassin for the land of fire and the Hokage greatest subject
He then allocated his time to practicing and performing new techniques: and was sent into battle as a assasin. Years later he progressed to Tokubetsu Jonin, specializing in assassination
